The Kites' Song

Can had a kite as colorful as a rainbow. It had a very long tail and loved to dance in the wind. Can couldn't wait to take his kite to his favorite hill that day.

When he got to the hill, he saw his friends, Ada and Efe. They had brought their kites too. 'Hi, friends! It's a great day to fly kites!' Can called out.

Ada's kite looked like a giant butterfly, and Efe's kite looked like a fish with a funny face. The three friends put their kites side by side and looked at how beautiful they were.

When the wind started to blow gently, Can slowly let out the string. The rainbow kite took off, rose up, and began to glide in the sky. 'Hooray, it's flying!' Can shouted with joy.

Seeing Can's kite, Ada and Efe launched their kites too. Soon, the sky was filled with colorful kites. It looked like the kites were dancing with the wind.

After a while, the wind changed direction, and Ada's butterfly kite started to dip. 'Oh no, my kite is coming down,' Ada said, a little sadly.

Can noticed his friend was sad and came right over to her. 'Don't be sad, Ada,' he said. 'Come on, let's hold the string of my kite together. We can share its wind.'

Ada was very happy with this idea. She took Can's hand, and together they started to fly the rainbow kite. The kite danced even more joyfully in the sky. Ada's face was smiling again.

Efe smiled when he saw his friends sharing. 'How wonderful! It's like our kites are singing a song together in the sky,' he said cheerfully.

The three friends' three beautiful kites accompanied each other in the blue sky. Sometimes they got closer, sometimes they moved apart, but they always danced together. This was the kites' song of friendship.

As evening came and the sun slowly set, the children carefully reeled in their kites. They had all had so much fun, and their cheeks were a sweet pink.

On the way home, they were all thinking the same thing: sharing and friendship made every day more colorful and fun. They would never forget this beautiful kite day.
