1. Purpose #

Under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we inform you, as data controller, about how your personal data is processed.

3. Personal Data Processed #

Identity and contact: Name and email address from Google or Apple sign-in, username.
Customer transactions: Reading history, favourites, preferences, subscription status, story idea submissions and support correspondence.
Transaction security: IP address, device and browser information, user ID, session and error logs.
Marketing: Advertising cookie identifiers, mobile advertising ID, ad impression and click information.
Visual records: Reference images you choose to upload through “Design Your Own Book”.

4. Purposes and Legal Bases #

Creating your account and providing the Platform and Premium subscription: necessary for the formation or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
Information security, preventing misuse and improving the service: legitimate interest of the data controller (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
Meeting legal obligations and requests from competent authorities: legal obligation (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç).
Analytics and advertising cookies and personalised ads: explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Method of Collection #

Your personal data is collected electronically, by automated or partly automated means, through the website, the mobile app, cookies and similar technologies, Google and Apple sign-in, and the forms and emails you send us.

6. Transfers of Personal Data #

Your personal data may be shared with Google LLC, Apple Inc. and Cloudflare, Inc. to provide hosting, authentication, analytics, advertising and payment services. As these companies' servers are located abroad, transfers are made in line with the conditions in Article 9 of the KVKK. Data may also be transferred to competent public authorities under legal obligations.

7. Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11) #

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in line with that purpose,
Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction under the conditions in KVKK Art. 7, and request that third parties to whom data was transferred be notified of these actions,
Object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis,
Claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

8. Applications #

Send your requests to [email protected] with enough information for us to verify your identity. Requests are answered free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, depending on their nature.
