Wooden Boy's Adventure

Once upon a time, there was an old carpenter named Kemal who lived in a toy shop. Master Kemal had no children and always dreamed of having a son. One day, he found a very special, talking piece of wood in the forest. "I can make a wonderful puppet from this wood!" he thought.

Master Kemal carved a boy puppet from the wood, using all his love and skill. He dressed him in red trousers, a yellow vest, and a pointed hat. "Your name will be Bora!" he said cheerfully.

That night, as Kemal slept, a magical light filled his room. It was the Light Fairy. She had heard Kemal's kind-hearted wish. Touching Bora with her wand, she whispered, "Awake, little puppet. If you are brave, honest, and a good boy, one day you can become a real boy."

In the morning, Master Kemal couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Bora jumping and dancing in the workshop. "You're alive!" he shouted with joy. He hugged Bora tightly. He was no longer alone.

Kemal wanted Bora to go to school and learn many things. So he sold his favorite coat and bought Bora an alphabet book. "Go straight to school and don't get into mischief," he advised.

On his way to school, Bora met the cunning Fox. "School is very boring," said the Fox. "Come, let us take you to a wonderful puppet theater. You'll have so much fun there!"

The Cat, walking beside the Fox, nodded in agreement. "Yes, yes! There are songs, dances, and lots of sweets!" he meowed. Bora momentarily forgot the promise he made to his father.

Bora sold his school book and went to the theater. But he got into trouble there and had to escape. As he was crying alone in the forest, the Light Fairy appeared again. "Why aren't you at school, Bora?" she asked gently.

Bora was ashamed to tell the truth. "Well... monsters caught me on the way," he made up. As soon as he said it, he felt something strange on his nose. His nose began to grow!

"Are you sure?" the Light Fairy asked again. "Yes, yes, they were huge green monsters!" Bora told a second lie. This time his nose grew so long that a little bird landed on it! Bora was very embarrassed.

Bora couldn't bear it anymore and confessed everything, sobbing. "Lies make you ugly, Bora, but the truth sets you free," said the Light Fairy. When she touched him with her magic wand, Bora's nose immediately returned to its normal size.

Bora ran home to apologize to his father, but Master Kemal wasn't there. His neighbors told him that Kemal had gone to sea to look for him. Bora immediately ran to the shore to find his father.

While searching for his father, Bora was swallowed by a giant whale! In the dark belly of the whale, he saw a light. It was Master Kemal! When they found each other, they hugged with joy.

Bora had an idea. They lit a fire inside the whale's stomach. The rising smoke tickled the whale, and with a giant sneeze, it threw them both out! They managed to swim to shore together.

The Light Fairy saw the courage and love Bora showed for his father. That night, she rewarded Bora. When Bora woke up in the morning, he was no longer made of wood. He had become a real boy! Master Kemal and Bora lived happily ever after. Because Bora had learned the most important lesson: telling the truth and listening to your heart is the best thing to do.
