Whiskers found a big, bright box hidden under the sofa in the sunny playroom. It was a giant puzzle box with beautiful, colorful pictures on the cover! Whiskers reached out with his paws to pull it out into the light.

He opened the lid with great curiosity. He poured all the pieces out onto the soft rug with a “tap-tap-tap” sound. “Wow,” Whiskers said, looking at the mountain of colors on the floor, “there are so many pieces!”

Whiskers remembered some very important advice: “Always look for the corners first.” He sat down on the rug and began to pick out the pieces with straight edges one by one from the pile.

He found a blue piece that he thought would fit the corner. He tried to push it next to another piece, but no matter how he turned it, it didn’t fit. Whiskers sighed and thought, “I guess this is a bit harder than I expected.”

But Whiskers did not give up. He picked up another piece, turned it around, and tried again. Click! This time, the piece snapped perfectly into place. Whiskers wagged his tail happily; he had finally started the picture.

Just then, his best friend Paws walked into the room. “Hello, Whiskers! What a beautiful puzzle. Can I help you?” he asked. Whiskers meowed happily and made space on the rug for his friend to sit down.

Paws picked up a bright yellow piece. “Look, Whiskers! This piece is exactly the same color as the sun on the box,” he said. The two friends compared the shapes and the colors of the pieces they held in their paws.

As they worked together, a beautiful garden scene slowly began to show. Paws shouted with excitement, “Look! A big, red flower is growing right here in the middle of the rug!”

“And here is a little butterfly with spotted wings!” added Whiskers. As they joined the pieces one by one, the giant puzzle no longer looked like an impossible mountain to him. It was becoming a masterpiece.

Finally, there was only one piece left on the rug. Whiskers gently picked up that last piece. It was the very end of their big adventure and all the hard work they had done that morning.

When the last piece clicked into place, Whiskers discovered a secret: big problems are much easier to solve when you break them into small parts! Working step by step made the challenge fun and simple.

Whiskers looked at the finished puzzle and smiled with pride. He had done it with the help of his friend. “We did a great job, Paws!” he said. It was a day of big success for a little cat.
