Little Rabbit Lily and the Little Snowman
Little Rabbit Lily saw the soft snow falling from the sky and ran into the garden with excitement. The world looked like a white fairy tale, and everything was sparkling.
Lily gathered some snow with her paws and rolled it into a smooth, tiny snowball. It was her very first step, and she felt very proud.
Lily gathered even more snow and rolled it across the ground for a long time. The ball grew bigger and bigger as it moved.
With great care, Lily lifted the medium snowball and placed it right on top of the largest one. She moved very slowly to make sure it stayed balanced.
Pip the Squirrel came to help. Together, Lily and Pip patted the snow down firmly to make sure the snowman’s body was strong and steady.
Pip and Skye the Bird worked together to place the third, smallest snowball on the very top. This was going to be the snowman’s head.
Lily and Skye danced around in the snow. They were so happy because, by putting three different parts together, the snowman’s body was finally complete.
Lily and Pip wrapped a long, colorful scarf around the snowman’s neck so he wouldn't be cold. The bright colors looked beautiful against the white snow.
Lily found two shiny black stones for eyes, and Pip reached up to place a small branch right in the middle for a nose.
Lily and Skye looked at their new friend. With his twig arms and his stone smile, the snowman looked very kind and friendly.
Lily sat back and thought about how amazing it was. Small, medium, and large parts had come together to create something brand new. It was a wonderful discovery.
Lily and Pip curled up near their new friend as the stars began to twinkle. They didn't need a photo; they would keep this special day in their hearts forever.
