Little Kitten Cotton's Garden

Little kitten Cotton woke up. He blinked his eyes. He stretched in his soft basket. Meow!

Cotton looked out of his basket. "Good morning, world!" he said. I wonder what's in the garden?

Cotton saw a red ball. A red ball of yarn. A round, red ball.

The ball rolled. Pitter-patter-pitter. Cotton ran after it. He ran, and ran, and ran.

Cotton saw a yellow flower. Like a daisy, bright yellow. It smells so nice!

There was a bee on the flower. Buzz, buzz, buzz! The bee danced.

Cotton saw a blue butterfly. Its wings went flutter, flutter, flutter. It flew, and flew, and flew.

Cotton looked at the sky. The sun was shining. A warm, bright yellow sun.

The green grass is so nice! Cotton rolled in the grass. He rolled and rolled.

Playtime was over. Cotton yawned. His eyes slowly closed.

Mother Cat came. "Time for sleep," she said. She led him to his basket.

Cotton slept soundly in his basket. He had colorful dreams. Sweet dreams, little Cotton.
