Bluey the Little Swan was gliding across the quiet pond. She saw something shiny on a big green lily pad. “Oh, what is this?” Bluey asked. It was a water droplet, as clear as glass. It was very, very bright!

Then, Waddles the Duckling waddled over with a happy quack. Waddles looked closely at the water droplet. “Quack quack! This droplet looks just like a bright yellow sun,” he said. Bluey smiled. The droplet was glowing with a warm yellow light.

Shelly the Turtle crawled slowly to the water’s edge. She stretched out her neck to see. “Look, friends,” Shelly said. “This droplet looks like a tiny green leaf.” Waddles and Bluey were surprised. The droplet was now a beautiful green!

Bouncy the Frog hopped onto a nearby leaf. “I see it too!” he croaked happily. “This droplet is as blue as the big, wide sky.” Shelly and Bouncy looked at the droplet and loved the deep blue color they saw inside.

Chirpy the Sparrow fluttered down and perched on a thin twig. She looked at the droplet with her tiny eyes. “Tweet tweet! What a lovely pink flower this is!” Chirpy said. Bouncy looked up and agreed. The droplet was now shining with a soft pink light.

Flopsy the Rabbit hopped out from the tall grass, her long ears twitching. She wiggled her nose at the droplet. “My nose is tickling! This droplet looks like a soft, white cloud,” Flopsy said. Chirpy chirped happily from her branch.

Zippy the Dragonfly hovered over the droplet with her thin, shimmering wings. “Buzz! Look,” Zippy said. “This droplet is like a shiny silver mirror.” Flopsy pricked up her ears. The water droplet had become a silver mirror that reflected everything around it.

Nutty the Squirrel hung down from a low tree branch. He wagged his bushy tail and peered at the droplet. “Click click! I see a yummy orange fruit,” Nutty said. Zippy flew in a little circle around the squirrel. The droplet was now a bright, juicy orange.

Dotty the Deer walked gracefully to the side of the pond. She leaned down to get a better look. “Maa! This droplet is shining like a golden star,” Dotty said. Nutty looked down from his branch at the deer. The droplet was sparkling with a bright gold light.

Finally, Lucky the Ladybug landed right on the edge of the lily pad. “Dot! What I see is a bright red dot,” Lucky said. Dotty sniffed the air and smiled at her tiny friend. The droplet was now a bold, beautiful red.

A gentle wind began to blow. The lily pad shook just a little bit. Plop! The water droplet slid off the leaf and fell into the pond. Ripples spread out across the water. Bluey the Little Swan and Lucky the Ladybug watched as the droplet joined the pond.

The surface of the pond was now filled with thousands of tiny lights. Bluey and Waddles looked at the colorful reflections dancing on the water. It was so wonderful to look at things with friends! Every little thing in nature looked even more beautiful when they were together.
