Good Night, My Animal Friends

The sun is slowly setting, painting the sky orange. It's almost bedtime for sweet Elif.

'Good night, little kitty,' whispers Elif. The kitty purrs and drifts off to sleep in its soft bed.

The fluffy dog in his doghouse gives a big yawn. Elif giggles, 'Good night to you too, my loyal friend.'

The little birds on the tree branch have stopped chirping. 'Good night, sweet birds,' Elif says softly.

The little white lambs in the meadow have snuggled up to their mothers. 'Good night, little lambs.'

The spotted cow in the barn has closed her eyes, dreaming sweet dreams. 'Good night, dear cow.'

The fluffy bunny has already gone into its burrow. 'Good night, fluffy bunny.'

The owl on the branch calls out 'Hoo hoo.' It's as if he is also saying, 'Good night, Elif.'

Now Elif is in her bed. Her mother hugs her and gives her a kiss. 'Good night, my sweet girl.'

Elif closes her eyes. Just like her animal friends, she peacefully falls asleep.

Outside, the stars are shining, and the moon is smiling. All the animals are sleeping soundly in their homes.
