One sunny morning, Cinnamon the little fox was exploring the big wooden closet in the hallway. Suddenly, he cheered with joy, “Wow! Look at all these wonderful shoes!” Bright, colorful, and giant shoes were peeking out from the dark corners. Cinnamon's eyes sparkled with curiosity.

Cinnamon quickly pulled out a pair of bright blue shoes covered in yellow stars. He slid his paws inside, but they were huge! His feet completely vanished. The shoes looked like two little boats resting on the carpet.

Cinnamon tried to walk across the room. Every time he lifted a foot, the heavy shoes hit the floor with a loud “Clomp! Clomp! Clomp!” He wobbled back and forth, holding his fluffy tail high to keep his balance.

Cinnamon looked at himself and giggled. Walking in these shoes was tricky, but it was also the most fun he had ever had! He stood in front of a tall mirror and started to dance with giant steps. “I am a big, strong giant!” he sang.

Just then, there was a soft knock at the door, and Cinnamon’s best friend, Puff the rabbit, hopped inside. Puff saw the giant shoes on Cinnamon’s feet and his long ears shot up in surprise. “Cinnamon, what on earth are you wearing?” Puff asked.

Puff wanted to join the fun too! He spotted a pair of tiny pink shoes with white polka dots near the closet. He sat down and tried to pull them on, but they were much too small! Only his tiptoes could fit inside the little shoes.

The two friends laughed and decided to try on every single pair of shoes in the house. Cinnamon found some tall, striped boots to wear. Puff picked up two round red shoes and put them on his paws. “Look at me! My hands are walking now!” Puff joked.

Cinnamon pulled even more shoes from under the bed and out of old boxes. There were glittery slippers, boots with long laces, and soft, fuzzy slippers. “There are so many different kinds!” Cinnamon cried, throwing a purple fuzzy slipper into the air.

Cinnamon had a great idea. “Let’s line them up, Puff!” he suggested. They took the tiny pink polka-dot shoes that Puff had tried and put them at the very start of the line. “This is the small section,” Cinnamon explained.

Next, they added some medium-sized green sneakers to the row. Finally, Puff found the biggest, heaviest brown boot of all. He had to pull and tug with all his might to move it. “And this is the biggest one!” Puff grunted as he set it at the end.

They stood back and looked at the long path they had made. They realized that some shoes were very small and others were very big. “We made a perfect line from smallest to biggest,” Cinnamon said proudly. “It looks like a shoe rainbow!”

It was finally time to go outside and play. Cinnamon and Puff took off the funny shoes and put on their own shoes that fit them just right. They hopped and ran out the door into the sunny green garden. “Ready, set, go!” they shouted together.
