Toby the Little Toucan and the Fruit Color Festival
Toby the little toucan saw baskets filled with red, yellow, purple, and orange fruits in the garden. “Today is the festival of colors!” he chirped joyfully. He flapped his wings to invite all his friends to the big fruit feast.
First, Monty the cute monkey arrived with a bunch of yellow bananas. “I brought the color of the sun!” Monty said happily. Toby greeted his friend while gliding through the air. Which color basket do you think these yellow bananas should go into?
Monty carefully placed the bananas in the yellow basket. The banana peels were smooth and shiny like gold. The energy of yellow instantly brightened the garden. Monty clapped his hands when he finished.
Tilly the turtle approached with slow steps. She was carrying small purple grapes on her shell. Toby landed right next to her. “These grapes are both sweet and very healthy,” Tilly said with a wise smile.
Tilly slowly dropped the purple grapes into the purple basket. The grapes were shining like little pearls. Tilly looked at Toby and smiled when she finished. Do you think the purple fruits suit our table?
Lola the parrot flew in with her chirpy voice. She brought tiny bright red strawberries. “Red fruits add excitement to the feast!” Lola chirped. Toby circled in the sky, accompanying his friend.
Lola arranged the red strawberries one by one in the red basket. The tiny seeds on the strawberries sparkled like the sun. The color red warms our hearts, doesn't it? Lola took a small lap around the basket.
Peter the rabbit hopped into the garden. He had sliced orange apricots in his hand. “Orange means energy, come and have a taste!” Peter told his friends. Toby laughed while watching Peter's joyful hops.
Peter gently placed the orange fruit slices in his basket. The garden now looked like a rainbow. The color orange suited the forest very well. Peter was happy, shaking his long ears when he finished.
Harry the hedgehog also brought sliced green kiwis on a small plate. “I brought the freshest color of nature,” Harry said shyly. Toby flapped his wings at his friend and said, “They look wonderful, Harry!” How fresh the green fruits look!
Toby and Monty started to prepare a large, colorful table. Every fruit brought by everyone made the table even more beautiful. While Toby arranged the plates, Monty carried the baskets to the table. Sharing makes our hearts soft.
Different colors make our table joyful. Toby and Harry sat side by side at the head of the table and tasted the delicious fruits. They played games together. Life is much more colorful when differences come together!
