Deep in the heart of the blue ocean, Tiny the Seahorse lived among the waving seagrass. He was very small, but his eyes were always wide open, looking for something new and exciting in his watery home.

One sunny morning, something unusual drifted past Tiny's nose. It was a bright green leaf, spinning slowly in the water. How are you moving? Tiny whispered. There was no wind down here, yet the leaf was traveling fast.

Just then, Chirpy the Yellow Fish swam over. She was as bright as a lemon and very fast. Look at that leaf, Chirpy! Tiny cried. Chirpy zipped around the leaf, her fins shimmering in the light.

The leaf floated toward a cluster of rocks where Click the Crab was busy tidying his front door. Click stopped and tapped his heavy claws together. Where is that leaf going in such a hurry? he asked Tiny.

It doesn't have a motor or a sail, but it just keeps going! Chirpy told Click. They both watched as the leaf danced through the water, never once touching the sandy bottom or the sharp rocks.

From behind a large, purple coral, Squishy the Octopus reached out a long, curly arm. He was very gentle and loved to play. Squishy waved a greeting at Tiny as the leaf tickled the top of his head.

The water is pushing it, Squishy explained to Chirpy. To show her what he meant, Squishy blew a little puff of water from his siphon, making a nearby bubble roll away. The water is always moving, even when we stay still.

The leaf glided over a soft patch of white sand. There, Sparkle the Starfish was resting peacefully. Tiny swam down to the bottom to say hello. Do you see the leaf, Sparkle? It's on a journey! he said.

Sparkle looked up at Click, who had followed them. The sand moves just like the leaf, she said softly. Look at the patterns beneath me. The water writes secrets in the sand with its invisible hands.

Suddenly, a large, graceful shadow moved over the friends. It was Shelly the Wise Turtle. She was very old and had traveled across the entire ocean. Tiny swam up to her large, patterned shell to ask for help.

Shelly looked at Chirpy and smiled a slow, kind smile. You are seeing the current, Shelly explained. It is an invisible river that flows through the sea. It carries seeds, leaves, and even us to where we need to go.

Tiny and Chirpy watched the green leaf disappear into the deep blue distance. The ocean has so many invisible wonders, Tiny said happily. They realized that nature was always at work, even when they couldn't see it.
