Hopi stepped aside to let his friend go first. Hazel climbed onto the wooden seat. Hopi waited patiently on the soft grass while Hazel rose high toward the blue sky. Swing, swing, send joy.

Pat the little hedgehog approached the tree very slowly. Hazel saw him coming and waved her fluffy tail. Come on Pat, wait for your turn! she chirped. Swing, swing, send joy.

Hazel hopped off the swing, and Pat the hedgehog climbed on. Hazel waited quietly by the roots. Pat swung back and forth, smelling the sweet scent of the nearby flowers. Swing, swing, send joy.

Chirp the tiny sparrow flew down from a high branch. Pat the hedgehog made room on the grass as the bird landed. Come on Chirp, watch the big sky! Swing, swing, send joy.

Pat stepped down, and Chirp the sparrow hopped onto the swing. Pat watched his friend with great joy. Chirp flapped her wings happily while the swing moved to and fro. Swing, swing, send joy.

As the sun began to set, the sky turned a soft, glowing pink. Hopi the rabbit and Hazel the squirrel stood side by side by the water. Everyone was smiling, and everyone was happy. Swing, swing, send joy.
