Pip the Mouse and the Cheese Maze
One sunny morning, a tiny mouse named Pip found a huge, bright yellow piece of cheese in the middle of the room. It looked so delicious that Pip’s nose twitched with excitement.
Right next to the cheese was a wonderful maze made of colorful cardboard. The walls were bright blue, red, and green. Pip realized he had to go through this fun path to reach his prize.
Pip stepped into the maze with great curiosity. The inside was lit with a soft, warm glow. “Here I go! I have to find the way to the cheese!” he said to himself.
Pip rushed down the first path. He ran and ran, but at the end, he hit a hard cardboard wall. It was a dead end! Pip stopped and rubbed his nose against the wall in surprise.
“I won't give up!” said Pip. He decided to turn back and try another way. This time, he headed toward a different corridor with more careful and determined steps.
But this time, his luck didn't hold up either. After a few turns, he found himself in front of another blue wall. The maze was harder than he thought, and Pip was starting to feel a little tired.
Pip stopped for a moment and took a deep breath. “Maybe I shouldn't just run,” he thought. He stood up on his back legs and began to look at the maze from above.
From up high, everything looked much clearer. Pip noticed the secret, correct path leading to the cheese. “There it is! If I turn there, I can reach it!” he shouted happily.
This time, Pip did not rush. He moved slowly, stopping at every corner to think. He followed the path carefully, getting closer to the cheese every second.
And finally, he made it! He reached the big, sweet-smelling piece of cheese in the very center of the maze. The cheese was right in front of him, and the victory was Pip’s.
Pip learned that stopping to think works much better than rushing. Just then, his best friend Poppy arrived. Pip was so happy to see Poppy and show her what he found.
Soon, their other friend Nibble joined them too. Pip shared the cheese with his friends and had a little celebration. They ate together and played games inside the maze.
