Little Marten and the Flying Seeds

Little Marten Alaz wanted to see a white seed floating in the wind up close. This soft seed was gliding through the sky just like a little parachute. Alaz decided to watch it quietly instead of catching it. Where do you think this white seed is going?

His friend Sparrow Pipir landed on a branch nearby and smiled at Alaz. These seeds travel to their new homes with the wind, Pipir said. Together, they wondered how far the wind would carry the seed. Do you think the wind can carry the seed over the trees?

Alaz and Pipir continued to watch the seed glide like a butterfly. Along the way, they saw other seeds joining them. Some were spinning like helicopter blades, while others were sliding gently like feathers. Why do you think these seeds fly in different ways?

When Alaz reached the edge of the meadow, he met Squirrel Kıtır. A small, prickly seed was stuck to Kıtır's fluffy tail. Alaz called out, Look Kıtır, you have a guest traveling with you! How do you think this prickly seed got stuck to Kıtır's tail?

When Kıtır jumped joyfully, the seed detached from his fur and fell onto the soft soil. Kıtır said, Some seeds can't fly; they are carried with the help of furry friends like us. Alaz was very happy to learn this new information. Which other animals do you think might carry seeds?

As Alaz continued his way, he saw Rabbit Hopi by the river. Hopi was watching a large, brown seed floating on the water. Look Alaz, this seed is floating like a boat, Hopi said. How far do you think this seed will go on the water?

The water gently left the seed in a muddy area on the opposite bank. Alaz realized that water was as good a carrier as wind and fur. He was excited to see how everything in nature helps each other. Do you think the seed will be happy by the water?

Just then, Hedgehog Pıtır came out of the bushes. Pıtır said, When the seeds' journey ends, the most important part begins waiting patiently. Alaz saw that the white seed he first saw finally landed on a soft spot in the shade of a tree. How long do you think the seed will wait there?

Butterfly Benek landed on the seed and gently flapped her wings. Benek whispered, Now this little seed will fall asleep under the ground. Alaz saw that the wind covered the seed with a few small leaves. What do you think the seed might be dreaming about in its sleep?

Days passed; the sun warmed and the rain watered the soil. Alaz came to the same spot every day to visit the seed but couldn't see anything yet. Although Alaz sometimes got impatient, Benek told him, Nature's secrets cannot be rushed. When do you think the seed will wake up?

One morning when Alaz woke up, he saw a tiny, green sprout coming out from where the seed was. Hedgehog Pıtır came to his side and said, Look Alaz, this is the fruit of patience. The little seed was now ready to grow. What do you think this little sprout will become when it grows up?

Alaz was very happy to watch this little miracle of nature. Together with his friend Rabbit Hopi, they danced joyfully around the new sprout. When we observe patiently, we can discover the small secrets of nature. What do you think Alaz will observe in his next adventure?
