Little Chime’s Forest Morning

The sun comes up. The wind blows soft. Chime is a silver bell on a tree. “Chime, chime! Good morning!” says Chime. The forest wakes up.

Fluffy the rabbit has long ears. He hears the sound. “Boing, boing! Who is that?” asks Fluffy. He hops to the tree. “Good morning, Chime!”

Pip the sparrow flaps her wings. She hears the music. Pip lands next to Fluffy. “Tweet, tweet! Good morning, friends!” says Pip.

There is a noise in the bushes. It is Snip the little hedgehog! He hears Pip. “Snip, snip! I am here too!” says Snip. He joins the group.

Slow the turtle walks from the garden. He moves very slowly. He finds Snip. “Step, step! Good morning!” says Slow. Everyone is together now.

Chime shakes again. “Chime, chime! What a happy morning!” she says. Slow looks up at the blue sky. The sun is warm and bright.

Fluffy and Pip find fresh water drops on the flowers. “Slurp, slurp! Yummy water!” they say. Sharing makes them happy.

Snip and Fluffy jump on the green grass. They dance in the sun. “Hop, hop! Let’s dance!” they say. The forest is full of joy.

Now they all sing a song. Chime rings and Pip chirps. Their music fills the trees. “Chime, tweet! Chime, tweet!”

Slow and Snip smile at each other. Friends are the best treasure. Every day starts with a hello and a happy smile.
