Leo loved going for walks in the forest with his grandfather, Oliver, every weekend. The sounds of birds and the whisper of the wind through the leaves gave him peace. At the end of the path, they encountered something they never expected: an old phone booth with its bright red color faded and covered in vines.

“Look at this, Leo!” Grandpa Oliver said with a smile. “This booth was here when I was a child too.” Leo opened the rusted door with a creak. Inside, there was no dial tone or a working keypad. The phone was silent now, but the booth still seemed to hold a secret.

Leo found a dusty, leather-bound notebook on the small shelf just below the phone. He excitedly picked up the notebook and began turning the pages. It was a visitor's log. “Look, Grandpa, there are so many notes here!” he called out.

As Leo slowly turned the pages of the notebook, he saw that the notes dated back a long time. The 1970s, the 80s... People had written their wishes, memories, and the beauties they saw here. The ink had faded in some places, but the writing was still legible.

One of the pages caught his attention with a curious handwritten note. It said, “In the hidden valley behind the Great Oak, a very rare Crystal Flower has bloomed in a midnight blue color. Please do not harm it.” Leo’s eyes sparkled; could this flower still be there?

Leo and Grandpa Oliver began a deep search to find the “Great Oak” tree mentioned in the note. They examined old maps and forest markers. “If we find that flower, we must protect it, Leo,” Grandpa Oliver said seriously.

After a long walk, they reached a small lakeside hidden behind steep rocks. There, exactly as written in the note, stood a flower glowing like a star in a dazzling blue color. Leo held his breath; it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen in his life.

Grandpa Oliver explained that this flower was an endangered species that only grew in this region. “We shouldn't tell anyone where this is, but we must hand it over to expert hands,” he said. He immediately took his phone out of his pocket and called the Nature Conservation center.

Shortly after, Ranger Sarah from Nature Conservation arrived at the scene. She congratulated Leo and his grandfather for their sensitivity. “If you had picked this flower, it might never have bloomed again. Now we will take this area under protection,” Sarah said and placed a small marker around the area.

Leo went back to the booth and added his own note to the very last page of the notebook he had found. Now he saw the forest not just as a place to visit, but as a treasure to be protected. He wrote in his note: “Leave nature more beautiful than you found it.”
