Leo loved watching the sky from his bedroom window every night before bed. For him, the billions of shining dots in the sky were like sweet riddles waiting to be solved.

One evening, while sitting on the old wooden bench in the garden, an elegant cat with pure white fur approached him. The cat was so silent that Leo only realized she was there when he heard a soft purr.

This mysterious cat appeared in the garden at the exact same time every night. She would come to Leo’s side and sit quietly, as if she, too, was following the glimmers in the sky.

Leo decided to give a name to this white-furred friend. Since she sparkled like a star in the dark night, he named her “Star.” Now, watching the sky was even more fun.

One day, Leo noticed that Star wasn't always looking at the sky. Her ears were pricked up, and her gaze was locked onto the old tree in the corner of the garden.

Curious about why Star was looking there, Leo walked toward the tree with her. Among the roots of the old tree, they found a small bird’s nest that had fallen and broken during the storm.

Leo carefully picked up the nest from the ground. To ensure the tiny birds inside weren't harmed, he moved the nest to a safe place and immediately asked his family for help to put it back in the tree.

A few days later, while Leo and Star were sitting in the garden, they were met with a beautiful sight. The birds had returned and were starting to rebuild their nest in the tree with chirps.

At that moment, Leo realized something. Star wasn't just counting the stars in the sky; she was also carefully watching all the living movements around her and the little friends in need of help.

Thanks to his white friend, Leo also began to look at his surroundings differently. He paid attention not only to the sky above but also to the soil under his feet and the shadows behind the trees.

Leo no longer disturbed any living thing he saw in the garden. He quietly observed a bee taking nectar from a flower or a ladybug's journey on a leaf.

As he looked at the bright stars in the sky that night, Star was by his side again. Leo now knew; the world was full of small miracles waiting to be noticed, and Star had taught him that.
