Arda and Ulcan the Curious Wolf

Little shepherd Arda played with his fluffy lambs on the green, green hills. His lambs were as white as snow, and Arda's heart was full of joy!

But sometimes, Arda felt a little bit bored. 'Oh, I wish for some fun!' he thought. A playful, tricky idea popped into his head.

He took a big, deep breath and shouted, 'Wolf! Wolf is coming!' His voice bounced and echoed through the valley.

The kind villagers, working in their sunny fields, heard his call. 'Oh dear, Arda needs help!' they cried, rushing quickly to the hill.

When they reached the top, huffing and puffing, there was no wolf, no danger at all! Only Arda, giggling with glee.

The villagers felt a little sad. 'Arda, it's not kind to play such tricks,' they said gently, and went back to their work. But Arda hadn't quite learned his lesson.

A few sunny days later, he felt bored again. So he played the same game: 'Wolf! Wolf is coming!'

The villagers heard the sound, but this time, they didn't come. 'He must be playing a trick again,' they thought, and kept working in their fields.

Just then, from the edge of the forest, a curious wolf named Ulcan peeked out. Ulcan began to wander among the lambs, just wanting to play a friendly game.

This time, Arda was truly scared! 'Wolf! Help me!' he cried. But no one came, his voice just faded into the air.

Arda felt very, very sad. He understood his big mistake. He ran to the village and said sorry to all the kind villagers. 'I will always tell the truth from now on,' he promised.

The villagers forgave Arda with warm smiles. Arda always told the truth after that, and everyone trusted him again. Because telling the truth brings trust, always!
