The Little Boat's Quiet Lake

The sun woke up slowly. The sky turned pink and orange. Taka, the tiny wooden boat, was placed in the quiet lake. Drip, drop, drip! The water was so cool and fresh.

Taka glided slowly across the water. He met a yellow, soft friend. Hello! said the duckling, Paytak. Paytak swam happily next to Taka. Quack, quack, quack!

Taka moved forward and heard a new sound. Ribbit, ribbit! A green friend was sitting on a big stone. Hello! said Hop the frog. Hop looked at Taka and gave him a big smile.

Paytak quacked and Hop jumped high. The two friends played games by the water. Taka was very happy watching them splash and play. The lake was a very cheerful place!

Taka continued on his way through the reeds. He saw a pink star floating on the water. Hello! said Nilü the water lily. Nilü greeted him by gently waving her soft pink petals.

Flutter, flutter, flutter! Shining wings appeared in the air. Hello! said Yusuf the dragonfly. Yusuf flew in circles and then gently came down to land right on Taka's nose.

The sun was slowly setting now. The sky turned a beautiful golden yellow. Yusuf flew away into the reeds, and Nilü slowly closed her pink petals. Sleep well, they whispered to the lake.

Paytak the duckling returned to his warm nest. Hop the frog hid safely under a big green leaf. Taka listened to the quiet, cheerful voices of his friends. The lake was much quieter now.

Taka rested gently on the still water. Hop hopped over one last time to wish him goodnight. See you tomorrow, said Taka. Everyone on the lake fell into a deep, peaceful sleep.

The silver moon reflected on the surface of the lake. Taka was no longer alone, because his heart was full of friends. The most beautiful journeys begin with small moments. Sleep well, little boat.
