The Little Blue Umbrella That Opened After the Rain
The rain stopped. Drip, drop, drip. The ground smelled fresh and sweet. Bluie, the little blue umbrella, opened up slowly. Bluie looked at the big sky and smiled.
Bluie walked down the path filled with flowers. He stopped by a mossy gray stone. There lived Ivy the Curious Snail. “Hello, my kind friend,” said Bluie.
Ivy crawled slowly across the stone. Just then, Chirpy the Happy Sparrow flew down from the trees. “Chirp, chirp! What a lovely morning,” Chirpy sang a happy song.
The friends found a big, clear puddle on the ground. Hoppy the Frog was sitting by the water, waiting. Bluie moved closer and gave Hoppy a big, cool shadow.
Hoppy jumped into the air with joy. Ivy moved aside on the wet leaves to let him pass. The little friends were very kind and helped each other move along the path.
They reached an old wooden fence at the edge of the garden. Cotton the Rabbit peeked out from behind the wood. Bluie reached out and gently touched Cotton's soft, white ears.
Chirpy the Sparrow flew in happy circles in the air. Flutter the colorful Butterfly landed on a bright yellow flower. Chirpy and Flutter began to dance together in the breeze.
The sun came out from behind the clouds. Everything turned a beautiful golden yellow. Bluie and Chirpy looked up and felt the warm sunlight on their faces.
A bright rainbow with seven colors appeared across the sky. Ivy and Flutter stopped to watch the beautiful, colorful bridge. The whole world felt very quiet and peaceful.
The day ended, and it was time to rest. All the friends went back to their cozy homes. A kind smile is the most beautiful flower that opens after the rain.
