The Colorful Bridge in the Sky

Atlas was a curious boy who loved to draw. One day, after a gentle rain, he saw a magnificent rainbow appear in the sky. 'Wow! A colorful bridge! I have to find it!' he said with excitement.

Atlas put on his yellow boots and his red backpack and set off on his adventure. He walked toward a green meadow full of colorful flowers. 'Hello, adventure!' he called out cheerfully.

He saw a tiny ladybug on a big green leaf. 'Hello,' said Atlas. 'I'm looking for the colorful bridge.' The ladybug replied, 'I can show you red! Just like my back and these yummy strawberries!'

Atlas thanked the ladybug and went on his way. Soon he heard a happy 'cheep cheep!' A fluffy, yellow chick popped out from behind a sunflower. 'The bridge you're looking for has my favorite color, yellow, just like the sun and me!' said the chick.

Atlas waved to his new friend. When he looked up at the sky, a little blue bird landed on a branch right above him. 'The sky is my home,' chirped the bird. 'It's a wonderful blue, just like the color in the bridge and my feathers!'

Atlas thanked the blue bird. He looked at the soft grass and the leaves on the trees around him. 'I know this color!' he thought. 'It's green! Just like the meadow and the leaves!' He was so happy to discover a color all by himself.

As the sun began to set, the sky filled with new colors. Atlas saw bright orange clouds, like the carrots in his garden, and soft purple shadows, like his mom's favorite lavender flowers.

Atlas realized the colorful bridge wasn't something to walk on, but something beautiful to see. On his journey, he had found all the colors: red, yellow, blue, green, orange, and purple. And he had made new friends!

Atlas ran home, excited to tell his family everything. As he came through the door, he shouted, 'Mom! Dad! I found the colorful bridge! It was everywhere!'

He told his mom and dad about the ladybug, the yellow chick, and the blue bird. He showed them the colors he learned in his drawing book. His parents listened with pride. 'Our dreams and colors lead us to new discoveries,' said his dad, smiling.
