Little Squirrel and the Red Kite

The sun is shining bright. The grass is very green. Little Sami the Squirrel is walking on the grass. Look! Sami finds a bright, red kite on the ground. “Oh, what a pretty kite!” says Sami.

Pamuk the white Rabbit hops over. “Hello, Sami! This kite is so beautiful,” she says. Sami and Pamuk hold the string of the kite. They look at the kite and smile together.

Çıtı the yellow Chick runs to them. “Cheep, cheep! I am here too!” says Çıtı. Pamuk and Çıtı dance on the soft grass. The air is peaceful, and the birds are singing.

Pıtı the little Hedgehog walks up slowly. “Can we fly it together?” he asks. Sami and Pıtı fix the tail of the kite. The red kite looks ready to fly.

Yumak the little Lamb comes over. “I will help too! Baa-baa!” she says. Pıtı and Yumak look very happy. They all come together with big smiles on their faces.

The wind starts to blow softly. “Let's go!” says Sami. Sami and Pamuk start to run across the grass. The red kite lifts off the ground.

The kite is flying! It rises up toward the sky. Çıtı and Yumak jump with excitement. “Look how high it is!” they shout. The red kite floats in the big blue sky.

The kite goes higher and higher! Sami and Pıtı sit in the shade of a tree to watch. The red kite dances among the white clouds.

The sky is bright blue and the kite is shining. Pamuk and Yumak watch the kite glide. Everything is quiet and very peaceful. All the friends are happy to be together.

All the friends take turns holding the kite string. Everyone is very cheerful. Playing games together makes friendship grow as big as the sky.
