Little Lantern and the Morning Dews

“Good morning, world!” Flicker the firefly woke up. The sun was slowly rising. The sky was pink. The sky was orange.

Flicker flew high, then Flicker landed. He landed on a big green leaf. He saw something shining there. It was bright and sparkly.

Flicker looked closely. Flicker saw a shiny drop. It was a round drop. “It is morning dew!” he said. It looked fresh and cool.

Dotty the ladybug came pitter-patter. Dotty climbed up the leaf. “Hello, Flicker!” she said. She gave a very happy smile.

Dotty laughed. Dotty was very happy. She flapped her wings. The dewdrop sparkled just like a mirror.

Chirp the bird called from a branch. Flicker looked up. Chirp waved his wings. “Good morning, friends!” he said loudly.

Chirp sang a happy song. “Tweet-tweet, tweet-tweet!” Morning joy was everywhere. The melody was soft. The melody was sweet.

Flicker flew in circles. Dotty spun around and around. They danced together by the dewdrop. The world was so beautiful and colorful.

The sun rose high in the sky. Everything felt warm. Dotty and Chirp looked up and smiled at the sun. The new day was bright.

Flicker was very happy. He gave his friends a big hug. Every new day starts with small discoveries and beautiful friendships.
