Little Elephant Ellie and the Forest's First Flower

The sun was shining brightly. Little elephant Ellie had filled her trunk with fresh water from the river. When she saw a thirsty white daisy in the garden, she gently sprayed it with water. The daisy opened its petals with love as it met the water.

While walking in the forest, Ellie found a small, blue wildflower that was bowed over and very thirsty. “Don't be sad, little flower,” said Ellie. She shared her last bit of water with this lonely flower. As the flower came to life, it smiled at the sky.

Just then, a rustle came from between the trees. Nutty the squirrel jumped next to Ellie, wagging his fluffy tail. “Hello, Ellie! How wonderful it is that you are helping nature,” Nutty said cheerfully.

Nutty wanted to help too. He began cleaning up the old, dry leaves and small stones around the flowers. Using his fluffy tail like a broom, he loosened the soil. Now, the flowers could breathe much more easily.

Right at that moment, Dotty the butterfly arrived with her colorful wings. Dotty landed on the very tip of Ellie's trunk. “Can I join you too?” she asked. Ellie and Nutty promised that they would all protect the forest together.

The three friends began walking along the forest path. Along the way, they watched the giant trees, the singing birds, and the tiny ants. Every corner of nature was filled with a different miracle.

When they reached a clearing, they stopped and breathed in the fresh air. “Protecting nature means protecting each other,” said Nutty. They all shared their love for nature and enjoyed the beautiful day.

When they got tired, they sat in the shade of a large pine tree. They found bright red, sweet berries among the bushes. While Ellie and Nutty filled their bellies, Dotty tasted the nectar from the flowers.

As evening began to fall, the sky was painted in shades of pink and orange. “Look, even the sky is smiling!” said Dotty. Watching the sunset, they realized once again how peaceful nature was.

“Shall we check the seedlings by the creek tomorrow?” Ellie asked. Her friends loved the idea. Planning their next adventure, they happily made their way toward their homes.

When Ellie arrived home, she was very tired but just as happy. She climbed into her bed made of soft straw and blankets. The moonlight coming through the window lit up her room with a soft blue glow.

The moment Ellie closed her eyes, she drifted into the world of dreams. In her dream, she was running freely in the sunny forest with Nutty and Dotty, playing games among the colorful flowers. Her happy sleep was a herald of new adventures.
