Finley the Little Seahorse and the Colorful Fish

Deep in the turquoise sea, lived a tiny seahorse named Finley. One morning, as he glided through the coral, he saw a bright red fish. “Hello!” Finley said. He loved the fish's bold, red color.

Soon, a sunny yellow fish swam over to join them. Its tail shimmered like a ray of sunlight. Finley gave his new friend a big smile. The underwater world was starting to get busy!

Suddenly, a blue fish and an orange fish appeared from behind the reef. The blue fish was calm like the deep water, while the orange fish couldn't stop wiggling. The sea was becoming a rainbow!

Finley had a wonderful idea. “Let's count and group everyone by color!” he cheered. First, he called the blue fish over. “One blue fish!” he said proudly, pointing with his fin.

“Red fish, over here!” Finley called out. One, two... the red fish lined up side-by-side. They looked like a beautiful bunch of underwater flowers floating in the current.

Next it was the yellow fish's turn. They gathered together to start their own group. Finley kept the beat, saying, “One, two, three!” The yellow fish sparkled like gold in the water.

The orange fish didn't want to be left out! They quickly took their places next to the yellow group. Now, every color had its own special spot, and the sea looked very organized.

Finley asked, “Are you ready for a big show?” All the fish put their tails together. They began to swim in a giant, magnificent circle right in the middle of the ocean.

Finley swam right into the center of the colorful ring. He spun around slowly to watch all his friends. When he saw the orange fish zipping by happily, he wiggled his tail with joy.

A massive, colorful ring had formed in the sea. Blue, red, yellow, and orange fish were all swimming in perfect harmony. Finley felt so happy watching the beautiful pattern they made.

Finley learned something very important that day. Grouping and counting colors wasn't just for learning—it was a lot of fun! He swam down to tell his friend Barnaby the crab all about it.

Playtime was over, and the fish began to swim away. Finley waved his fin at them. “Let's play again tomorrow!” he called out. He smiled as the yellow fish waved its tail goodbye.
