Every morning, Molly the Little Manatee visited the beautiful coral garden. Today, she noticed something strange. A shiny, silver piece of paper was stuck to a bright pink coral. Molly knew it didn't belong there. She swam closer, wondering how it got into her colorful home.

Just then, Sammy the Seahorse fluttered over. “What is that sparkly thing, Molly?” he asked, twirling his tail. Molly looked worried. “It’s something that doesn't belong here, Sammy. We must take it away before it hurts the corals.” Sammy nodded, holding onto a nearby plant to stay still.

Toby the Turtle swam toward them. He was carrying a sturdy basket made of woven seaweed on his back. “I can help!” Toby said with a kind smile. “My basket is very strong and can hold all sorts of things.” Molly felt much better now that her friend was here to help.

Ollie the Octopus arrived to help too. He found a long, sturdy stick on the ocean floor. Using his clever tentacles, Ollie used the stick to lift the shiny silver paper. Toby held his basket steady while Ollie carefully poked the trash inside. They were careful not to touch it with their fins.

Dash the Dolphin zipped around them in a happy circle. “I see more shiny things hiding in the sand!” Dash called out. He used his powerful tail to gently swish the sand away. Underneath, he found a small, round bottle cap that was half-buried.

Pip the Little Fish was very small, but he was very brave. He found a large, empty seashell and pushed it toward the bottle cap. “I can move the small pieces!” Pip chirped. He used his nose to push the shell, using it like a tiny shovel to scoop up the cap.

Molly swam down to meet Pip. She gently took the seashell from him and carried it over to Toby’s basket. She tipped the shell over, and the bottle cap tumbled inside with a soft thud. “We are doing a wonderful job,” Molly said softly. The garden was already starting to look brighter.

Sammy the Seahorse spotted something else! A bright blue piece of plastic was wedged deep between two rocks. Molly found two long, thick pieces of seaweed. She used them like a pair of tongs to reach in and pull the blue plastic out. “Cleaning is actually fun!” Sammy squeaked.

Soon, the basket was full. Toby looked around the coral garden and smiled. Sammy swam a lap around the reef to make sure they hadn't missed a single spot. “Look how it sparkles now,” Sammy said proudly. The corals looked happy, and the water felt clean and clear.

Ollie the Octopus used his many arms to tie the top of the seaweed basket shut so nothing would fall out. “This garden is our home,” Toby said firmly. “It is our duty to keep it safe and clean for everyone.” They all felt very proud of their hard work.

Dash the Dolphin leaped high out of the water and splashed back down. “Can we do this together again?” he asked with a big grin. Ollie waved his tentacles in the air. “Of course! We are much stronger when we work as a team.”

The coral garden was now the most beautiful place in the ocean. Molly and Pip swam through the colorful branches together, enjoying the peaceful water. Protecting the environment is the greatest gift we can give to our home and our friends.
