Little Beaver and the Wooden Bridge


This is Bivi. Bivi is a little beaver. He looks at the blue stream. He wants to go to the other side. I want to cross! says Bivi.


Here comes Vaki the Duck! Splash, splash. She brings a long, brown branch for Bivi. Let's build a bridge! says Vaki.


Zıpzıp the Rabbit hops by. He brings a sturdy stick. Click clack, click clack, the bridge is growing.


Tostos the Turtle crawls slowly. He brings a flat wooden board. Click clack, click clack, the bridge is growing.


Pıtır the Squirrel runs down a tall tree. She brings round, brown acorns. One, two, three! They help hold the bridge.

Pamuk the Lamb skips along the grass. She brings white daisies. The bridge looks very pretty now!
