It was a bright, sunny morning. Lily the little rabbit hopped into her garden, which was filled with beautiful pink flowers. She carried a big jar of soapy water and a magic wand. “Today is bubble day!” Lily said with a big smile. She dipped her wand gently into the jar, ready to start her adventure.

Lily lifted the wand and gave a very tiny “puff.” A small, shiny bubble appeared in the air. It was so tiny that it looked just like a little green pea. Lily leaned in close to look at it. “Oh, how small you are!” she whispered in surprise.

This time, Lily took a slightly deeper breath and blew a bit harder. “Pufff!” This bubble was much larger, about the size of a round red apple. It floated slowly, reflecting all the colors of the rainbow in the sunlight. Lily clapped her paws and said, “Look, this one is much bigger!”

“I wonder how big I can make them?” Lily thought. She filled her lungs with air and blew a very slow, very long breath. A massive bubble began to grow on the end of her wand. It was so huge it could have hidden her whole body! Lily watched it wobble, wondering why the bubbles came in so many different sizes.

Just then, Pip the squirrel popped out from behind the bushes. “Hi, Lily! Those bubbles are amazing!” Pip said, his tail twitching with excitement. Lily smiled at her friend and replied, “Welcome, Pip! Look, some are tiny and some are giant. Come and try it with me!”

Pip grabbed the wand and blew as hard as he could. “POFF!” He blew so fast and so strong, but instead of a bubble, there was just a loud “pop!” The bubble disappeared before it could even form. Pip scratched his nose, feeling very confused. Why didn't it work?

Lily and Pip sat down on the soft grass together. They began to experiment by blowing air at different speeds and amounts. Some bubbles popped right away, while others wobbled and danced into the sky. “We have to use just the right amount of air,” Lily said wisely to her friend.

Lily tried a new way. She blew many short, quick breaths into the wand. A whole cloud of tiny bubbles began to rise toward the sky. “Look, Pip! They are flying high like a flock of little birds!” Lily shouted happily as she watched them go.

“Let's make the biggest one ever!” Pip suggested. They both stood in front of the wand together. They took a very deep breath and blew very, very slowly at the same time. The biggest, most colorful, and shiniest bubble they had ever seen began to float over the garden.

As the sun began to set, the garden was filled with thousands of colorful bubbles. Lily thought about how much she had discovered today just by trying new things. She and Pip started chasing the bubbles through the flowers, laughing together. Science and play made the world so much fun!
