Emma’s Big Adventure

Today is a big day! Emma is going on an adventure. She packs her bag and goes to her bright red car. The car is ready to go vroom, vroom!

Emma looks back at her cozy house. Goodbye, house! she says with a wave. The house looks warm and happy as Emma starts her fun trip.

Look up high! A cheerful bird named Pip is flying in the sky. Pip sings a happy song just for Emma. Tweet, tweet! sings the little bird.

The sun is warm, so Emma finds a very old tree. The tree has big, long branches. It makes a cool, dark shade for Emma to sit in.

Emma sees something pretty on the ground. It is a colorful flower! It has many bright petals. Emma leans down to smell it. It smells so sweet!

The sun is very bright today. It looks like a big gold coin in the sky. The yellow sun beams down on Emma and keeps her warm as she walks.

Near the road, Emma finds a cat named Mittens. Mittens is sitting on a big rock. The cat wakes up, stretches its paws, and looks at Emma with sleepy eyes.

Suddenly, a playful dog named Patch runs up to her. Patch wiggles his whole body and his tail goes wag, wag! He wants to play a fun game with Emma.

Walking makes Emma very hungry. She finds a big, red apple in her bag. It is very juicy. Crunch! goes the apple. It tastes so good!

The day is over and the sky is dark. Emma looks out her window and sees a bright star. The star winks at her. Goodnight, Emma, the star says.
