Finn showed the shell to Pip the seahorse. Pip swam through the colorful coral to see. “Look, Pip, this shell is so curly!” Finn said. Pip swam in a little circle around the shell, admiring the curves.

Just then, Bubbles the fish popped her head out of the water. Finn brought the shell to the water's edge. “Look, Bubbles, see how the color shines in the water!” he said. Bubbles wagged her tail with joy, making tiny splashes.

Star the starfish crawled slowly across the sand. Finn showed her the beautiful patterns on the shell. “These lines are very smooth, aren't they, Star?” he asked. Star reached out to give the shell a gentle touch.

Inky the octopus came out from behind the rocks. He waved his arms with excitement. Finn said, “Look, Inky, this shell is shaped like a spiral!” Inky used his tiny arms to explore the twists and turns of the shell.

Click the crab scuttled sideways across the beach to join them. Finn said, “Click, look! This orange color is just like the sunset.” Click looked at the bright shell and clicked his claws together happily.

Toby the turtle walked slowly along the sand. Finn pushed the shell gently toward him. “Look, Toby, when the sun hits it, the shell glitters like gold!” Toby peeked out of his own shell to see the bright light.

Skylar the seagull flew down from the big blue sky. Finn asked, “Skylar, this shell feels so soft. Would you like to feel it?” Skylar landed on the sand and looked at the shell with her bright, curious eyes.

Dash the dolphin swam to the shore and gave a happy whistle. Finn held the shell near the waves. “Look, Dash, it sparkles even more when it is wet!” Dash splashed a few tiny drops of water onto the shell.

Last of all came Barnaby the whale. Barnaby was so big that when he breathed, he made a rainbow with his spray. “Look, Barnaby, this shell is so tiny next to you!” Finn said. Barnaby gave a big, kind smile.

All the friends loved the special shell. Finn and Barnaby worked together to place the shell on top of a high, safe rock for everyone to see. “This shell belongs to everyone,” Finn said with a smile.
