Little Badger walked closer to the windmill and looked carefully at its sails. They did not move at all, as if the windmill was in a deep sleep. “Knock, knock, knock. Why did you stop?” he asked, tapping gently on the wooden body.

Just then, the clever Crunchy Squirrel scurried down from a nearby tree. “Let's look together, my friend. Maybe we can find a clue,” said Crunchy. The two of them slowly walked in a circle around the quiet windmill.

Patient Bouncy Rabbit hopped over to join them, his long ears twitching. “Let's not rush. We should check every single part,” he suggested. Bouncy Rabbit and Little Badger looked up to see if anything was caught in the sails.

Creative Lumpy Hedgehog approached with great care. He looked so closely it was as if he had a magnifying glass. “Look! Dried leaves from last autumn are stuck between the sails,” Lumpy said. He used his small nose to sniff out the narrowest corners.

Chirpy Sparrow, a great observer, flew down from the sky and landed on the very top of the windmill. “Everything looks clearer from up here!” she chirped. Chirpy flapped her wings, trying to feel which way the wind was blowing.

Helpful Steppy Turtle reached the top of the hill with slow but steady steps. “I can help pull away those heavy branches blocking the path,” he said with a smile. Everyone was ready to help, no matter how big or small the job.

Crunchy Squirrel and Bouncy Rabbit began to pull the yellow leaves out from between the sails one by one. “Clean it slowly, move gently,” they said, working in a steady rhythm. The sails were starting to look much cleaner and lighter.

Lumpy Hedgehog and Steppy Turtle worked together to move the old branches that blocked the stone path. “One, two, hop! There, the path is open,” they said happily. The area around the windmill now looked tidy and fresh.

Chirpy Sparrow circled in the sky and called out to those below, “The wind is coming! Everyone get ready!” Little Badger grabbed the long tail of the windmill to help turn it toward the breeze.

Suddenly, a sweet breeze blew across the hill. The windmill's sails began to turn with a happy “creak, creak” sound. As the sails moved faster, a joyful noise filled the air. Little Badger and Crunchy Squirrel watched the spinning sails with delight.
